• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Why do we fear and dislike death if it's just pure blissful nothingness..sounds good enough to me ?!

People are afraid of pain and unknown afterlife stuff. SI is also a biological reality.

Maybe not knowing that for a certainty- if any doubts about an afterlife remain. Plus- we need to die to get there. Which could be extremely painful and scary. And, we may not even succeed and only maim ourselves.

It's a bit like saying- over there is a beautiful desert island. A paradise. All you need to do is swim through this shark infested stretch of water to get there! Or, you could just stay on this boat in high seas which is making you sick but- is maybe not as painful as a shark bite. We maybe need the boat to have a loose tiger on it to make us risk the sharks although- tigers swim well so- maybe not the best decision. But, it's like- even if death seems ok- the contest is between living and dying.

Because we are biologically hardwired to stay alive at all costs, which includes making one fear dying. There is quite frequently pain associated with death and dying, which people rightfully fear. Also, you may think that death is pure nothingness, but there are many many people on this point that believe otherwise.

Because as much as I hate being alive it's the only think I truly know .
