Well me personally, I don't believe there is any purpose or meaning to life.
For starters, I don't believe in religion and I could discuss that very in depth on why I know it to be false. Aside from our silly man made religions.. as far as some sort of higher power or "god" I don't necessarily believe in that either. There's just no way I can force myself to be that delusional.
So because of that I genuinely don't see any purpose to life. I'm a nihilist and understand that in the grand scheme of things, nothing really matters at all. A couple hundred years from now, everyone you know will all be dead and you will likely be forgotten. But that's not a bad thing though, plus fame is overrated anyways tbh, I'd rather live a private life. Anyways, like I said there really is no purpose or meaning to life and we will all die eventually. We humans worry so much, but in reality, our lives are incredibly insignificant in relation to the sheer size of our universe. And while that may sound depressing at first, to me it is very relieving.
So you may be wondering, "if you see no meaning or purpose to life, why haven't you ctb yet?" and well tbh I do have thoughts on it, but I'm not gonna do it. Mainly because life keeps going so you might as well risk life and chase your biggest goals with the mindset of, "I'd rather die trying" because me personally, I'd rather die than live like the average man in America who goes to college, get's in crazy high debt, has no retirement plan until it's already too late, get a corporate job that they hate, working with people they dislike, and having a boring ass life lying on the death bed with the regret of never chasing my dreams.
So I do admit that there's no inherent meaning or purpose to life, but because of my outlook on life, It's kind of up to me to find meaning. So meaning was not assigned to life, but we do have the capability to give life our own meaning.
