Why did the suicide of someone i barely knew affect me so?

i'll never forget him. He was my friend's dad. The nicest guy ever.

I wonder who I barely know that will hear of my suicide and think of me often

Sorry for the loss. Succesful ctb attempts here also affected me a lot, three that I know of as of late. But I'm also relieved that they finally got what they wanted.
