Discussion Why can't I decide when I die?

I think its extremely unfair that people with terminal illness and old age get to decide when and how they die but as soon as younger people like me, 20-30 ext, want to do the same we don't get that option without painful or uncomfortable ways to die. I just want to go out peacefully asap but I can't and it's so damn frustrating. People don't understand that not everyone wants to live, and personally, I think it's extremely selfish of people to try and get others to stay alive when they clearly don't want to just because they think life is great. They wouldn't force someone who is constantly in pain and suffering, seeing no point in living like that, to stay alive when they so desperately wish to end their pain. It's hypocritical.

I think it's incredibly inhumane how there is a lack of acceptance towards the right to die in this world, it disgusts me how we cannot just leave in peace and instead we are expected to suffer and be prisoners to this existence until we die anyway.

It's just so horrible how so many people are against us having the option to free ourselves from this existence we were so cruelly burdened with in the first place, this world truly is such a hellish place.

We have more decades of possible suffering ahead of us than older people do. I wish everyone's suffering was respected properly.
