  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

It was so cruel for adults to tell me growing up I could be normal and recover. I was never going to be normal. There was never much hope.

Because soe do recover, though some don't. Child abuse ruined my life, so I empathize completely, but for people looking at a person from the outsie you can't usually tell which ones will recover and which ones won't.

I think it is too much to ask for something like this considering what we have so far, recently some countries are making progress with the issue of euthanasia but there is a danger of a setback in this area

Imagine the child's face when he's rescued by law enforcement only to be told that he's going to die now, while his abusers get away with a slap on the wrist. I think if the child grows up to adulthood and that mental health treatment failed them, then they can have the choice to be euthanized for "Therapy resistant emotional trauma"

You can recover and be functional though... If you manage to find a healing relationship(s).
They don't tell you about the repelling curse it creates though and I'm stil confused by that one. But I know people who recovered though I can't explain how they did better than me other than that they got lucky somehow and met someone...

Euthanasia should be a thing, period. No justification needed.

Shouldn't we give the death penalty to the abusers rather though ?

Because child abuse is extremely common. If we euthanized every child who was abused we would go extinct. And from the perspective of the ruling class, abuse victims who lack access to treatment are easier to manipulate, so there's a benefit to keeping people around past the point that trauma therapy can manage their symptoms.

Euthanizing a child isn't going to solve anything. We have to look at the root problem, the parents and society, and fix that first. My little brother was abused as a child and we adopted him. He lives a happy, healthy life.
