The creative industries in general are very prone to personal preference. Have you enjoyed every song you've ever listened to? If someone asked you to give your honest opinion on a piece of music (repeatedly) and you didn't enjoy it- would you lie to make them feel better?

Some people simply won't sugar coat. If they are asked (repeatedly) to give their honest opinion- that's what they'll do! If you think it might upset you- don't ask for it. Some people will love your work, some will hate it. Some won't care much either way but will be polite and supportive, others won't.

I'm sure no one is deliberately trying to push you towards suicide. They may be irritated by seeing you try to promote your songs in multiple posts though- so- I expect that's coming through too.

On the one hand, I think you're brave for inviting people to give their opinions on your work. Maybe that's necessary if you want to get it 'out there' I guess. I imagine you are doing this on multiple platforms? It's not something I'd be brave enough to do- because I know plenty of people would say my work is shit!

Honestly, I'm not willing to participate in listening or giving my opinion because, I don't like to criticise artists. I know how hurtful it can feel.

Still, when people have said they've liked it, you've seemed to reject the compliment. Not sure whether that's because you are genuinely insecure or, you maybe want them to argue back with more reassurance that they do in fact think it's really good. Maybe mean to say it but, a friend and I used to call it: 'fishing for compliments'. We used to find ourselves doing it to each other! Probably because we were insecure rather than wanting to be adored. Maybe a bit of both though. Rightly or wrongly, that's not always a quality people like though.

I think some people just generally have a problem with someone trying to promote themselves on a suicide forum too. It's a place where a large amount of users are really in crisis and even possibly at the end of their lives. I imagine you are trying to make a commercial success of your work? It isn't simply a way of expressing yourself? Not just a person sharing some art to express how they feel. I imagine this might be part of your strategy to become successful? To aquire as many fans as possible? People may not like that tactic here.

Actually think your voice is good. I don't even think your lyrics would be considered bad in a technical aspect when it comes to this sort of genre. Main issue is the fact that most people will find your topics and ideas to be unsavory rather than it being a poor work of art. Though, I personally think that your choice of words is too simplistic which takes away from the overall quality of the song. Overall, I liked the song and even listened to it multiple times, so yeah.

You already know music is subjective and a matter of personal preference. No such thing as good or bad music. Just music that speaks to you personally and music that doesn't.
