yup, and it seems to get even worse.. even tho life back in the days wasn't perfect, compared to now, music was ecstatic, movies were touching and life had meaning, now only ctb related stuff gives some sort of meaning..

Me, but only after 25-26 years old. Before it could still be sometimes awful, but the better parts were so exciting and magical.
But when you've tasted life enough it's only the repetition of something already seen, just with a slight variation. Adventure is gone forever.

I agree, like, what's even the point? What am i supposed to do?

Let's look at how most of our time is spent, either studying or working, to develop a career and make money.
Like i've said in another thread in the past, if working was good, we would pay for it, not the other way around.
Hey, at least we make money, right? Yeah, but what should we spend it on? Our hobbies? That's the point of life? It gets so boring after a while.
And considering how painful studying/working is in so many ways, especially how dull it is, the stuff we can buy just isn't enough to be worth it.

Well, what else is there to life? Friends and family i guess.
Friends are cool, but again, we can spend a lot of time here, like, 80 years or something, it's fun, it's wonderful to have friends, but not enough to endure life.
Family, well, they're the friends you didn't chose, so it's automatticaly worse, also building a family is terrible, having kids is the most selfish thing anyone could do.
Life is miserable why bring someone else into the world even though they were perfectly fine with not existing?
Also, romantic relationships are also dull, it's just a matter of lust + financial and social stability, nothing magic or pure about it.

Life has nothing to offer, it's boring, i'm bored, and above all else, i'm tired.

This is exactly how I feel! I try my best to sleep as much as I can for this reason - I don't look forward to the day at all.

I often question the point of it all. We're here to die basically. I feel like I'm just waiting it out.

When I'm bored I plan for my ctb. Research, read news about ctb. I also read a lot about human body. Health. Try to learn new things. If I know better my body the easier will be to take my life.

To be fair, most of the reason life expectancy was so low until relatively recently was due to very high infant mortality rates. If you actually managed to survive early childhood (which was impressive until modern medicine came about), then you'd expect to live to around 60 or so.

There are plenty of exciting and wonderful things to do in life. Whether one has the mental and physical ability to enjoy them, is another story.

(Exciting and wonderful does not equal meaningful. There is no instrinsic meaning to anything, other than the one which we assign.)

Everyday is a little more boring than the last. Even the things which I used to love turned meaningless.

For me its the little things - I could barely contain my excitement when the first avengers movie released and now i could not even find any energy to watch its ending in the Avengers - Endgame.

I used to get excited by the latest gadgets but the last time bought a new one has been three years. Same with clothes, shoes or anything else. Except for food I don't buy anything. Shopping which used to be like an adrenaline rush has become boring too.

It's not that people usually dropped around 35 years old - it's just that many died to now trivial diseases, starvation and other random causes.
At some point infant mortality was at 30% or even higher, which crashed life expectancy hard. If you were relatively healthy (didn't starve) and made it past childhood you could easily expect to make it to 60 or older.

Edit: Didn't see a previous poster already answered that. My bad.
