I think social media is destroying society. I hate it. I hope Facebook and google and twitter and all of them just spontaneously combust.
Everyone is tribal and brainwashed. Insecure. People aren't spending time with friends or dating anymore. People are miserable.
All while Zuckerberg rakes in millions by stealing your private information and selling it, and making deals with politicians to censor people and control information flow.
I've been off social media two years. As someone in GenX, it's been very lonely, but I'm happier this way.
