I have no family or friend connections and haven't for many years. Who am I supposed to write my suicide note out to?

You don't have to write a note at all. If you want to write, for your own edification, and you have no one to write to... you can just write generically and whomever finds you will read it and know your story.

That's an easy one: you don't write a note at all. If there's nobody you care about enough to explain things to them and say goodbye, why bother?

I'm in the same boat. I've gone dark since January and nobody's come knocking so there's that. I probably won't even accounce it here: when it's time to go, I'll know, and I won't be sticking around any longer than I have to.

It is good to write something short for emergency personnel though, just stating that you have taken you life. Just helps their investigation
