I thought about doing this as a sort of percentage poll but then, couldn't figure out how to get that to work. So- the poll is for your most used method of social interaction (with friends and family). If you want to though, you could break it down into a percentage score. For me, it looks fairly shockingly as follows: Probably something like:
78% online- here.
10% in person
8% by telephone
4% maybe texting
I'm going by total time spent. So- I text more than I phone chat but, phone calls last longer. But overall, it's mostly here I come for social interaction.
If you are more of a hermit- like me, do you think that contributes to the way you feel? Do you need a lot of social interaction?
I think I'd struggle if I had nothing. I do really appreciate the people I do keep in touch with but, I can probably get by on comparitively little.
Have you changed throughout your life? Has the way you communicate changed?
I was never much one for phone chatting with friends- mostly texting. More with family there. I used to see friends in person more though. I'm more likely to try and find excuses rather than see people these days. I think it's harder to mask in person. Or, on the phone really. They have more to go on that something's off. How about you?
