I thought about doing this as a sort of percentage poll but then, couldn't figure out how to get that to work. So- the poll is for your most used method of social interaction (with friends and family). If you want to though, you could break it down into a percentage score. For me, it looks fairly shockingly as follows: Probably something like:

78% online- here.
10% in person
8% by telephone
4% maybe texting

I'm going by total time spent. So- I text more than I phone chat but, phone calls last longer. But overall, it's mostly here I come for social interaction.

If you are more of a hermit- like me, do you think that contributes to the way you feel? Do you need a lot of social interaction?

I think I'd struggle if I had nothing. I do really appreciate the people I do keep in touch with but, I can probably get by on comparitively little.

Have you changed throughout your life? Has the way you communicate changed?

I was never much one for phone chatting with friends- mostly texting. More with family there. I used to see friends in person more though. I'm more likely to try and find excuses rather than see people these days. I think it's harder to mask in person. Or, on the phone really. They have more to go on that something's off. How about you?

Things have changed a lot over the years, and right now I don't think I can write a detailed response, but I'll try to come back to this thread later. I clicked 'other' because I guess when it comes to friends/family, most of my communication is 'psychic'', which I know sounds flaky. It's just that I feel I understand why they don't understand, and I wish them well in their lives, I wish them happiness and love.

For me depends I hate talking on the phone moslty. Cuz I cant handle it as much, if is a person I know pretty well then yea.

I just dont wanna be judge and you cant see what face their making so.

But the down side I cant order by myself sometimes cuz I feel like im wasting everybody's time.

Texting is also good ig. I cant even call a pharmacy to pick up pills cuz I just freeze

Everything has it pros and cons

My phone is on silent, not even vibration on, 99% of the time. I only turn it on if I'm waiting for a specific call, almost always medical shit to set up appointments or to do the appointments over the phone themselves. I never use my phone for outgoing calls except for the same reason--medical shit.

I use FB a lot, mostly just fucking around posting memes and news but sometimes chatting.

Discord is the main way I'm in contact with friends and shit, I'm on it all day.
