• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I won't get into the details of methods in this guide, I am just going to talk about some basics that you need covered.

First of all, ending your life is the single most important decision you're ever going to make. It should NEVER be done in an impulse. You should only do it after seriously going over it many, many times. If you do chose to do it, it should be final. No half attempts that can harm you physically or socially.

First of all, NEVER attempt it close to other people. This is the number 1 cause of failed attempts - the person's family, or friends or neighbors find out, call an ambulance, and you get in a hospital where they do everything possible to keep you alive.

If you are going to attempt, do it in a remote, hard to access place. If such a thing is not available to you, at the very least make sure that you are in a locked room, windows shut, move a cupboard against the door. Everything to prevent any possibility of someone entering. The time between you starting and getting to the hospital is crucial, and you want it to be as long as possible.

This is why imo a remote cottage in the countryside is the perfect choice. Far from hospitals, far from civilization, can be completely locked off. Other possibilities include open nature or a very closed very secure house. And ffs, never ever ever attempt in a hospital.

Next, do not tell anyone that you personally know about it. I fully understand the impulse. You don't want to be alone in your final moments. But you NEVER know how someone can react. I have a depressed friend that I thought would perfectly understand me, and when i mentioned the possibility of suicide to him he wanted to call 911. This is a road you sadly have to walk alone.

NEVER attempt on an impulse. Your attempt needs to be calculated and firm.

Never attempt methods that are completely wild or that require your personal input. Do NOT just take a random box of pills and chug it. Do not randomly cut yourself thinking you will go all the way when in reality your survival instinct is going to kick in.

This final one is way more of a personal opinion, but honestly, don't obsess about whether you will be in agony for 5 mins or 20 secs or 0. If you chose to keep living, I guarantee you will experience way more than 5 minutes of agony from kidney stones, herniated discs etc. So honestly just worry about speed and lethality.
