Mentioned before about a guy who jumped into a steel mill blast furnace and instantly vaporized. Another guy tied a long rope around a street pole and got into his car and then floored it resulting in his head partially decapitated.

Heroin overdose is very rarely discussed as a method, even though it's certainly as viable as ordering nitrogen cans, associated meters and then figuring out how to assemble an apparatus Brunel would be proud of in order to avoid brain damage.

It's viable if you inject it, if you just smoke and sniff i wouldn't hold my breath and it's not even heroin that way it becomes morphin. And injecting isn't easy with no help either from some nurse or someone who knows how to do it

I'd say so, and whilst injecting may be a stumbling block for the unacquainted it certainly can't be much more complicated than assembling tanks, pipes, meters and masks, or firing up a chimney burner whilst spending several hours covering a tent with duct tape.

It's rediculous for me to look into these elaborate methods that require setting up bitcoin, going on the dark web, waiting weeks for mail, paranoia over delivery, ordering and giving myself a series of anti nausea doses, building air tight masks, acquiring a tank of pure helium, argon, etc. traveling somewhere and assembling a co gas chamber duct tape tent somewhere —when I can't even get out of bed most days.

I can't even purchase a rope without difficulty. I'm currently attempting partial with a noose fashioned from dog hair.

However, I think it's not really a suitable method for much of this site's user base and the logistical issues they tend to face (as well as their qualms ordering drugs and using crypto, which is probably the big one), so I'm not surprised it doesn't come up much more often. It honestly feels like the kind of method where the self-sufficient could figure it out anyway. There is so much information out there on using heroin as part of one's lifestyle and overdoses are well studied.

I had a long term interest in the amitriptyline cocktail and I have to say it seems kind of dubious due to the long time it can take to kill. It's a kind of niche experimental method with the downsides of one. But I think if one is going to research suicide and consider death by SN and such they could consider whether things like the ami cocktail might meet their circumstances better.

I would allow 2 days at worst for that cocktail. If you're prescribed the meds like I was (minus the midozolam), hoarding them won't get you enough. Repacking the capsules, something I think is probably important, also seemed annoying, but worthwhile if you can't access anything better (money I suppose?). I've talked about it once on here with someone and my conclusion was just that there are probably better and more conclusively peaceful things you could order and you aren't going to have access to all those things in your house usually.

Ami cocktail is probably more comfortable than the widely discussed SN, for example, but would take longer (problem for me personally) and isn't being actively investigated any more, I guess. SN is also cheaper and probably simpler to execute, and involves ordering less stuff.

Amitriptyline is one of the only lethal things on the prescription market and I'm surprised people never ask about tricyclics. I assume it's because none of them are prescribed them, and people here don't do a lot of research. It's literally been on WikiBooks for years, so it's easy to find on Google.

Someone brought up the Darvon cocktail the other day which is very similar.
