As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.
Here in California, I've seen suicides in the news when they're in public places (people jumping off parking garages or running into traffic). You'd also probably have to be either famous or related to someone who is famous.

I think media coverage is a double edged sword. In a dream world where people can freely choose to end their own lives suicide shoulnt be something "abnormal" that requires special attention. It should be a "natural" part of life - not every person has the capacity to live until 70 or 80. There should be nothing wrong with ending it earlier, if your life brings more sorrow than joy.
Media coverage is a bad thing in this regard, because it isnt neutral, it will always assign a value to your deed - good or evil.

The incident happened on Hanover Street, Liverpool at 8.25pm on Saturday night. The 15-year-old boy fell from the roof of the car park and died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics to save him.

Guessing this one's a Suicide.
Guessing it got reported as it's a young person & was done in a very public place.
Nobody is using hazmat suits for sn poisoning lol.
The ctb that makes the news are people who were well known or liked in their community, or had some especially unusual circumstance. Less reporting now anyway due to COVID-19 as others have said, because of social agendas.
An inquest has now been opened and adjourned into her death

Theres a thread on here speculating that this is also a sn suicide but I'm not 100% sure... No mention of hazmat but again pretty dramatic, they evacuated neighbours from there houses early hours of the morning and 5 emergency services staff had to be checked over after "hazardous materials" were found in the property.
I remember a girl's suicide in my hometown ended up in the news because she was with the youth group at a big church and they held a wake for her. What was weird too was she had sold stickers of her art, and when she died a bunch of people started buying her stickers. A lot of people at my highschool didn't even know her or her church but would put her stickers on waterbottles and stuff. It was sweet, but a more "normal" person's suicide definitely wouldn't have caused that kind of attention.

If the perpetrator of a large scale crime dies by suicide then you will hear about it, randy stair killed three people then died by putting "racheal" in his mouth and blowing his head off, elliot rodger died by using his gun in the bmw that he drove around isla vista, running down people and whatnot, the columbine boys dying together in a jointed suicide, cho, etc. If you were popular in life and your death can be used to push something they will use that too, etika for example had some news articles made about him.
