Which saying do you like best?

The first saying is:
I am not surprised when somebody commits suicide. What does surprise me is that more people don't do it.

The second saying is:
The best part of life is death.

When I was younger I liked the first one better, but as I got older I liked the second one better.

They both sound accurate to me, although the first rings truer- seeing as not everyone hates their life. Some people dread death. Some crazy sods claim they'd live forever if they could.

The second one as ceasing to exist certainly is the best part to me, it's all I hope for and is all I see as desirable, all I want is to be free from this painful, cruel and dreadful torturous existence I always saw as a mistake, for me non-existence is just all that's positive and as long as I exist I'll only hope for peace from the terrible cruel burden of existence, all I want is peace, I just want to never suffer again.
