Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've come to the conclusion that I will likely ctb after I finish university. I would like to see if life can improve but I know that truly it is hopeless, I'll go down the same path as my mother and I won't get to be truly happy.

I'm leaning towards jumping or hanging for my method this time, I want a solid method that is sure to let me rest. I live in a town that's known for its infamous Bridge, I believe its around 43m tall, falling from it would practically insure death but it would be a long walk to the peak of the bridge which may be stressful and can cause suspicion (from what I've heard it's illegal to use the walkway there now because of the amount of suicides) I think it would be the most peaceful and painless way, the view there at sunset is truly beautiful, I've always wanted to get to experience a view like that before. If I calculated right, it would take roughly 3 seconds before I hit the floor, enough time to take in everything around me and also not overthink too much.

On the other hand there's also hanging. I have a pretty sturdy 7mm nylon rope, I've tested it when trying partial suspension and it should do the trick, I'm not sure if SI will intervene too much. I had a friend (we weren't all too close but we had mutuals) who took their own life by using a ligature and they only passed away 3 days after the initial hanging. I don't want to end up with brain damage if anything doesn't go to plan or be left paralysed, I'm also afraid of how much it might hurt even with socks.

Does anyone have any advice on which would be the better option for me and insights into how painful and likely both of these methods are.

No one can decide for you and u should do it yourself based on what u feel about each method dont let people decide the way u are going to make the most important decision of your life. Both methods are highly lethal and rather painless if done correctly and will work so the decision should be based on what u feel most comfortable with. Much love
