• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

You can always just keep one on your laptop, it's safe there behind the password. I mean how often do people snoop around your room? I think you'd be pretty safe just putting it in a shoebox in the back of your cupboard

I keep mine with me at all times, since I also live with my parents still, and my mom doesn't have good boundaries. People can't snoop if it's with me all the time

I'd probably use a note-taking app protected by a strong password. For password generation and management, I use Bitwarden.

I would take out the drawers from my dresser and then stash my journal in the very back of the dresser and put the drawers back in.

I also hid lightweight items on the top of the blades of my ceiling fan--course, also meant I could never turn it on.

Eventually I ended up hiding items outside.

I'm sorry that happened to you, my sister did the same to me. It was very upsetting. Nowdays there is no need for me to hide things but i still do it out of fear, i hide my journal under my desk. You could also hide it under your bed or other furniture or inside clothing drawers. hugs to you

My parents used a bolt cutter to snap the lock off one of my locked boxes. I'd agree that the safest bet is a digital one. If you like to handwrite it, you could always take a picture and save it digitally.
