  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

So this is a follow up to a series of threads of mine. I now have all of the supplies needed to shoot my Muzzleloader rifle. It's suggested that I shoot a few primers before loading the bullet and I'm probably best off shooting a bullet first (before the one that goes into my head) just so I know how it will feel in my hands to shoot the rifle and how to grip it.

Sure there are hunting ranges around, but for that I'd have to buy a hunter's license, read a hunting manual and learn a whole lot more stuff about hunting. It'd be good if I could just sneak into the woods somewhere. After my first shot, it will take me a few minutes to load my next one. I'm using saboted bullets which typically require the bore to be cleaned after each shot. I'm going to have the cleaning supplies on hand but I'm just saying, I'll be really shaken up after the first shot and I'll feel really rushed to load the next one, afraid that someone will have heard the shot and will come find me before I've had my chance for the final shot.

I really don't want to be driving all over the place looking for a safe, remote place to shoot. There are state parks and places for hiking but you never know where a hiker could pop up there. I'd feel really uneasy about driving around with my rifle in my car as I'm an erratic driver, have already been in an accident after having my license for only 4 months, and am just bound to wind up in trouble I think.

Is it worth finding a place? Or could I just learn how to make the first shot the perfect shot before shooting at all?
