Where do people stream their suicides?

I have seen a lot of hangings on sites like WatchPeopleDie.

Where are people streaming their suicides? I assume that leading platforms like Facebook Live would cut it off pretty quickly, and I am certain other mainstream platforms would as well.

So, where are people streaming their suicides on - that end up on Gore sites?

Are there well-known sites that allow for that type of streaming?

One member here recorded a bidirectional video call with another member which was then uploaded to google drive and linked here. Not exactly live streamed on the internet but recorded and uploaded nonetheless. I assume many of the vids on WatchPeopleDie are recorded and then uploaded but idk the names of live streaming sites that don't have censorship. Hopefully someone here does.

I'm wondering the same thing.
I know people have done it on instagram and twitch? But as for proper sites I don't know. I think you just have to hope that someone screen records it and puts it in wpd and that the platform that it's originally recorded on doesn't end it.

or anybody with a platform - it wouldn't have to be SaSu - just a notice saying - beware of what you watch -

My guess is most of the videos are not streamed, but recorded and then auto uploaded or uploaded by someone else. You could set your PC to record you for some time and ask someone here to upload it e.g. day after.


If you really want to stream it, your best bet are smaller platforms. Kick allows a lot. You could probably get away with it if you only get few viewers, do it quickly and don't include anything suspicious in title/description/chat.

Edit: If you're a massive nerd like me, you could use VLC. This could not be blocked.

Method I setup recently is a nginx webserver hosted on a VPS, with the RTMP stream module configured so that it would record an RTMP stream from my phone, then a bun (like node.js) backend that would move the recorded video into a public folder served by nginx an hour after the stream ends.

Edit: If this seems overly technically complicated, it's because it is I guess. I just wanted to host it on a server and domain I controlled so hopefully it'd take longer to be taken down, and by the time it was taken down, many people would have already downloaded it.

there was this girl on twitter (Nakaikiaka) who was able to live stream her death on TwitCast, never heard of it, but it worked. I think you can livestream suicides/death on any platform only if people don't know what you're about to do, thats how most gore videos are taken, i think. to keep it up and running after that... probably a site with little to no moderation.

Twitcast is Japanese with a huge following but moderated. I'm sure that suicide just slopped through

My guess is that most are livestreamed on large platforms like Twitch or Youtube then downloaded by others before they are taken down...

I should probably mention that I've seen quite a few people stream their suicide on facebook (there are quite a few videos on wpd from facebook live). you can probably stream it on any platform and unless you get a lot of reports (which IMO is unlikely), the stream will not be taken down, but there are no guarantees.

I'd be curious too. It's the direction I'm taking but curious why others want to arrest or video tape their end

You are probably right - I have already tested auto uploads - and they are efficient. The problem is where do you send it to

that would result in a gigantic lawsuit very fast and leaks would be immediate.
