Where can a American Christian go to be persecuted and martyred for their faith in the world without direct instigation?

I turned away years ago from the Christian faith (Most enlightening experience) due to the grip and control it had on my decision making process. Missed out a lot on life and wish I could redo the past knowing what I know now.

That aside, not sure what your intentions are for "martyr" but considering the Christian God Yahweh is suppose to be all knowing, they'll know your true intent was suicide and still technically send you to hell.

Many don't realize you can only ask Yahweh forgiveness so many times before he/she/it knows you are not truly repenting for your sins and are worse (in their eyes) because you are also lying in the process.

Like some others have suggested, I would re-evaluate your life and maybe look into different faiths.

It is perfectly normal to questions beliefs, never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Not too mention, some historians of recent have noted Christianity to be a by product of Judaism from early times. I'd have to find the article again about the ongoing research but apparently it was passed down by Israelites for early gentiles who were not God's chosen so Christ was their "savior" so they were able to live amongst them. (The Israelites)

This is not my personal belief, just an interesting study. I'll do some digging later to see if I am able to find the article again. It was a few years back.

Sorry for the double post but I felt I needed to respond. Out of respect, I'll apologize and say that while I may have read too much into your original post, when one talks about martyr on a suicide forum, I unfortunately put two and two together. As some other mentioned, this is probably not the best place to be asking this though since there are others on here needing real advice.

No need to DM you, I'm quite open about it. I converted to Norse Paganism and yes, I am fully happy with my choice and life becoming fulfilling, too each their own.

Almost two years ago two white women were murdered in their sleep without any provocation whatsoever in the outskirts of Morocco, by Islamic extremists. Three were directly involved in the killing but twenty four individuals were taken into custody. From the reporting neither was Christian, and yet they had this done to them, so imagine how such individuals would react to a known Christian or one attempting to convert others to the faith.

It was definitely sad, both girls were held down and filmed as they had their heads cut off while choking on their own blood before being displayed in front of the camera. I try to not be offensive but imagining a religion that has the potential to give rise to that makes me question just how positive in society they truly are.

I'm not even sure the idea of martyring can work and be properly recognized with someone intent and going to some place where they EXPECT to die. And that very much seems to be your goal though you're dancing around it.
People might go to dangerous places or into battle and know there is a high risk of dying but it's very different if the attitude is:

Also due to the nature of these crimes you will most likely get beaten in prison and they will coerce you into signing your death warrant. One thing to also consider is that not all capital punishment is via beheading sometimes they stone you to death or crucify you.. if you got beheaded tho that wouldn't be too bad tbh
