Looks like seven countries maintain territorial claims in Antarctica, with none of them owning it?

I always love hearing about it because nobody seems to really care but they still feel the need to set up a tiny civilian settlement anyways to try and prove they own it lol. Antarctica to me is fascinating though because nations seem to collaborate a lot when building research bases. Maybe in the future there will be multinational towns scattered all over the continent
