I always love hearing about it because nobody seems to really care but they still feel the need to set up a tiny civilian settlement anyways to try and prove they own it lol. Antarctica to me is fascinating though because nations seem to collaborate a lot when building research bases. Maybe in the future there will be multinational towns scattered all over the continent

I'm from cold rainy gloomy scotland lmao. Tbf tho the weather reflects my mood most of the time and sometimes it feels good to just go outside bare foot with no jacket and feel the rain in your hair. It sounds a bit mad but there's nothing else like it it feels so comforting like I'm connecting to nature. But the country most of the time is like a grey instagram filter lmao just no colour at all or maybe that's just how I see it.
