Have you ever tried to hold your breath for 3 - 3.5 minutes?
I used to hold my breath underwater as a kid to see how long I could go, although I don't see what that has to with my post.

Getting killed. I just don't want to do it myself, I think I can't, I chicken out every time.

Probably the night-night method for me, from what it sounds like that if done correctly I just feint like from having low blood sugar or something like that. Either way it sounds like my ideal version of a peaceful death.

I think AMi is the best method, if you can be alone for 24-48 hours
hello. I would like to ask what that stands for, I'm curious

You told that drowning is very unpleasant, but I can't agree with that. If you ever managed to hold your breath long enough after a hyperventilation, you probably noticed that the most unpleasant part takes about 30 - 60 seconds, then you start feeling lightheadedness and this new stage of the suffocation becomes easily endurable. If you continue, then you just pass out in 1 - 2 minutes and won't feel anything afterwards. With a proper mental control, the whole process is totally doable and doesn't imply an extreme amount of suffering. It should be way easier to endure than removing a tooth by a dental surgeon, for example.

I don't even know if my 1st ideal method would've worked. Plan on making a separate post asking about it.

Now the method ive been thinking of as preferred is hanging myself while being high af on edibles. The first time I had a really strong one, it knocked me on my ass for over 48 hrs. So I'm thinking that might help with the hanging process if I have everything ready in advance.

Have the noose and all ready beforehand, take a bunch of edibles, then as soon as they start kicking in, just go for it.

For me, it will be Nembutal, SN, tourniquet, or CO poisoning.

Nembutal. It's the most painless, quick and safe method to ctb. But ofc, it is almost impossible to get it in Europe.

Something that's pretty much 100% guaranteed to kill me within a few seconds, even if it'll make me feel alot of pain within those few seconds. As irrational and messed up as it seems, I feel like I need to experience dying for a short amount of time and not just going lights out immediately. I also wouldn't want something that'd mess up my face or body beyond recognition.

My ideal way would probably jumping off a Bridge near my city. I used to go and sit there for hours when i was a kid and into my teen years. It just gives me a sense of peace. It's a bittersweet atmosphere there. Many feelings and memories connected to that place. It's also a familiar and very isolated spot. Bridge is pretty high too, so it's just ideal for that. SI would probably be hard to overcome.
OD is something I've considered but because of my panic disorder and emetophobia i even struggle with taking normal pain killers and antibiotics. Putting something unfamiliar in my body and not knowing how my body will react just sets something off in me. I can't do it. I wish i could because if planned well it could potentially be one of the most peaceful and painless ways to CTB.

Has to be gunshot to the head. A 9mm bullet going through both hemispheres of your brain is objectively the most painless, instantaneous and convenient method. It's just like turning off a light switch, 1 pull of the trigger and your brain/consciousness gets destroyed faster than it can even register/comprehend. It's only convenient though if you have relatively easy access to guns in the country you live in. Vast majority of humans don't have the luck of having easy access to guns unfortunately.

Do you have any advice on overcoming the hypercapnic alarm response, how to push through it?
You can try to do push up exercises first. Once you approach the limits of your physical endurance, you may notice that if you motivate yourself to do as many moves as possible, you can make a bit more moves if you try to perform them with some aggressiveness. This approach with highly motivated aggression may be used to endure the hypercapnic symptoms.

I'd also recommend to pay your attention to the increasing time you're spending while holding the breath. You can watch the timer and mentally pronounce the number of passed seconds. This should help to partially distract your attention to the unpleasant feelings.

Actually that's very good advice. Once I was doing press ups as part of a HIIT workout and after third set of push-ups my arms just collapsed from under me and I almost hit my face on the ground lol, it's like when a device hits 0% battery and switches off suddenly unexpected while you're using it, that's similar to what happened when I did press ups that one day, my arms just dropped lol. I'm going to try out your suggestions. Thanks for the help 🙏
