I've said the same in every thread relating to music but Funeral Cry by Dark Sanctuary. I listen to it a lot and it's quite calming. I think that the full version is around 20 minutes long.

When It Rains by Paramore because it's also a song about suicide. Or random melancholic piano songs.

I love Call Out My Name by The Weeknd and also Repeat Until Death by Novo Amor. I like the slowed and reverbed versions even more since that makes the songs sadder

Now planes write your name up in the sky
And flowers die for your suicide
Trains stopped in vain and the pain stopped for you

I don't have just one song.
1. Nine Inch Nails - The Day the World Went Away
2. Radiohead - Exit Music (for a Film)
3. Moby - One of These Mornings

There are others, but these are some of my go-to sad tracks.

Your deep rest by hotelier
All my tears by ane brun

I recommend looking into Tyler Joseph's old songs. I was going to list like 4 more songs lol cuz I just listen to "sad songs" 70% of the time.

"She's Always a Woman to Me" in Muzak ambience. Played in the plaza when the Twin Towers were burning and people were jumping to their deaths. After all these years, this song still haunts and fucks with me hard.

Icarus by Dan Owen (Acoustic) this song has a painful and special place in my head for a certain person but the lyrics truly do cut

Ecstasy by Crooked Still (Instrumental), it just feels calm like finally being able to rest

Brividi by Mahmood & Blanco, drank and cried a lot when playing it as I think about my regrets. Really nice.

Send Me Home- Murder By Death

About a year ago my best friend died from an accidental overdose. I had been talking to him a lot about how I felt at the time. He sent me a song called Let Yourself Be Huge by Cloudkicker at some point in our conversation. The song is an instrumental and it's alright but the title stuck with me more than anything else.

Blackest Bile - Giles Corey

Bit of a shame that "No one is ever going to want me" is more popular, I think this one's much prettier, but the other one's more straight to the point I suppose.
