5 days during millitary training. I hate it that every college student in my country has to go through this (after the
massacre in 1989).
It trains you to be obedient, not rising up or do something to 'disturb the society'. It sucks.
The food they provided in the millitary camp was shit, literally pig food I would say.
I hadn't read about Ghandi at that time but I was literally practising Ghandi's non-violence and non-cooperation by fasting.
Buddhism and Indian culture have a root in me I guess.
During the days I was doing heavy millitary exercises (step practice, stand still for hours, 3km run, all in 35+C) with no food intake, only water.
I finally fell due to low blood sugar.
After recovery, I was withdrawn from the training.
I made it, Ghandism won.
