- future results of various sports
- future releases from various musicians
- whether the world can be turned around from wherever the hell it's currently headed. I'd really like to have seen this in my lifetime
- my favourite foods
- celebrating my friends big life achievements
- autumn mornings, actually most mornings in the year when they just feel right (the weather etc)
- wearing an outfit and just feeling really good
- laughing to the point where nothing matters
- seeing videos etc that really shows the good in humanity
- hearing other peoples stories
- feeling carefree (although I haven't truly felt this in 5+ years)
- fireworks

If you were to ctb sometime soon, what do you think you'll miss out on?

Personally I'd say GTA VI and the end of season 8 of rick and morty.

It is completely possible that, in the distant future, a cure for lupus will come out and be available. I would miss out on that. The same goes for treatments and cures for other chronic illnesses such as ME/CFS, Long COVID, etc. I would miss any new releases from my favorite artists.

If I were to CTB sometime within the next month or so, here is a list of everything I would miss immediately/within a year:

• My 21st birthday and purchasing weed/alcohol legally for the first time.
• My move into a new apartment with my best friend
• A show that my favorite band is hosting in my city
• Trips that my parents are forcing me to go on
• Irritating family get-togethers
• My fourth year in college

A lot of things. It's why I haven't even decided on a specific year or age to CTB yet.
(I am thinking probably mid-late 20s or mid 30s though, but could go earlier if I wind up needing to. I'm currently 21 for reference as of posting this reply.)
Nights of purring cat cuddles; long, deep talks with my best friends and my older bro; the finishing of BFDIA (Battle For Dream Island Again and TPOT (The Power of Two) (yes I know how silly this one is to non-BFDI fans idgaf); getting high (weed) and falling asleep blissed out because of it; indie music yet to be released...
I simply haven't lost the fear of death enough yet to actually go through with CTB I guess...

I never thought about it, but I can check off most of the categories that you mentioned and now I really feel old.

But age is a number and as long as I have all the great folks here, all the other issues are mute.

I will only miss out on things I am already missing out on anyway. Being here or not being here makes no difference to that.

I only have two friends left, and one of them draws a comic. In 2020 we made a character together… I'd miss getting to see her story finish, and the character I helped with come to life. But I can't really think of anything else irl… If you asked me back when I had friends I'd say tomodachi life, but now that they all left me I don't have anyone to make in the game…
