  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I know they probably wouldn't give medication to a depressed person if it could be used as a way to CTB.

But what would happen if I took a month's worth of medication all at once? Would I just vomit it all up? Would I just feel sick for a few days?

Yeah generally, the most common medications prescribed for mental disorders in general are vetted out for risk of overdose. Some of them can be used with other medications to create a cocktail but generally by themselves would just make you very sick, throw up, possibly do minor damage.

But if you want to know for sure, what medication specifically are we talking about?

A few years ago my main methods for trying to ctb were medication overdoses. They never ever worked for me, I had been on things like promethazine, olanzapine, Quetiapine, valporic acid, diazepam, so many different things, I'd stockpile them and nothing, would just vomit them up, I didn't know there were things to counteract vomiting etc.. even so olanzapine was the only medication that had a serious effect on me, it put me in hospital unconscious for a few days but evidently I lived.
I think the risk of these types of medications are that maybe like what TydalWave above said is that they are generally vetted out for risk of overdose but also I feel that eventually these types of overdoses will cause a really adverse effect on yourself and instead of killing you will actually just end up giving you some type of permanent damage to an organ.

NOTHING. Don't do this! just did this yesterday with a bunch of antidepressants and other meds, check out my recent post. it'll just make you feel sick and nauseous, way worse than how you feel now and you'll probably throw it all up and won't work for ctb

I can second the DON'T DO IT, as these drugs are generally not toxic enough to kill you, but enough to ruin the next few days. When I attempted OD with trazedone, I was barely able to move the next day. It was a sickness that is hard to describe other than extreme weakness, nausea and fatigue. I won't try that again.
