What would be the best method I can keep for when the time is right?

1. I have no intentions of CTB'ing at this current moment. However I do wish to keep something in case I am too financially destitute to go on. If I run out of money, and I have no other options I'm calling it quits on this life under late stage capitalism.

2. I am a coward when it comes to pain. I want quick and painless.

3. I want something I can keep hidden in my room. Preferably, something I could hide in plain sight as a man in my early 20's.

4. I currently do not have a gun license and therefore can't use a gun. Plus, in my situation a gun would draw suspicion.

5. I would prefer keeping my body and face intact. Honestly, if that time to CTB comes while my parents are alive, I would want them to be able to say goodbye one last time at the funeral.

6. I don't have a ceiling fan and I'm fat so hanging is probably out of the question. The next best thing would be killing myself via belt but that seems a bit barbaric for my tastes. That and, the SI would probably win.

7. As I have mentioned, I am a broke bitch. Hell, me being broke is part of why I'd written this.

8. Obviously, this method can't have an expiration date. Like taking a cyanide pill or some shit.

Is there anything that would work for me?

There are not many options to hide things in your room. Even if you find a source of N (Nembutal), it would be risky to hide it in your room. Even if you hide SN in your room and someone finds it, they would ask what you need it for.

Very true, now that I think about it, I'd probably be better off not having any methods in my room until something happens. Can't be caught and questioned if there's no evidence

The other quick and painless is inert gaz and storage is an issue. SN can be hidden quite nicely, it's a 500g bottle.

Also before searching for way to ctb I didn't know that SN could be used for it so it's a plus.

This is tough, give people some kind of flexibility to give you a suitable methods, every method looks unsuitable as you have problem with every aspects

I'm not underage, no. I'm 21 going on 22 but I still live with my folks who know my mental health is not the best.

I think that a straightforward, reliable, quick and painless method would be something that is far too good to be true in this cruel world but I think with questions like this all that one can do is do their own research, there's information about methods in the suicide resource compilation, but I doubt you will find a method that fully suits your criteria.

Like I said if there were easy, painless methods I would be long gone by this point, straightforward methods that fit your criteria don't really exist, suicide really is so unnecessarily difficult in this world after all. But anyway I wish you the best.

Yeah, that's true. And even if there was such a method I don't think the pro-lifers would approve of it's existence. They would try to ban and prevent knowledge of it's existence. The only thing I could kind of see is something bad happening to me and then me asking for assisted suicide, but since I liv in a conservative pro-life state I doubt they would want that to be an option. Such a shame.

US States which have assisted suicide are only for terminally ill not for everyone, even the blue states won't allow you for assisted suicide if you are not terminally ill
