From what I understand, dying via an overdose of phenobarbital is the best way to go, it seems that they use this in euthanasia

Ideally, a death that comes while sleeping. Short of that, any method that brings quick unconsciousness followed by actual death shortly thereafter, ie inert gas, CO, barbiturates.

Yeah, but it would be nice not to hurt other people/cause property damage. I don't know if I would use recipes from the Anarchist's Cookbook in ctb methods.

For me, barbiturates would be ideal.

My grand uncle, who I was close to, died like that. I wish I could too.

Ideally something that is as fast as possible and looks like an accident, but I can't think of anything. Maybe jumping off a cliff, but that seems unreliable.
Other option would be to get a gun, but I don't want to sped the time and money getting one and I don't know if I even could get one.

Realistically I will probably hang myself. If you find a good spot it should be reliable and (at least for me) relatively comfortable.

For me it'd be a death as peaceful and painless as possible as I wish for no more pain and no more suffering rather I just hope for non-existence, for me non-existence truly is all that's positive and desirable. I'm just always so tired of suffering in this futile, torturous existence I always saw as the most terrible tragic mistake, I personally just want peace and I see it as so dreadful how I cannot just have a death like never waking ever again even know this existence was so tragically imposed with suffering seen as to force and prolong no matter what instead but of course if it's up to me I'd choose to erase my existence so it's like I never suffered at all as I just wish for all to finally be gone for me. I'd prefer to forget about this existence no matter what, I just want peace from this existence that just caused and brought all this suffering all for the sake of it, for me existence really is the problem and I'd just never wish for the suffering of existing.

The Swiss assisted suicide clinics actually use Pentobarbital. They are not the same.

for me personally id love to take a long hot shower, wash my hair, do some skincare, eat some good food. hug my family members. id even pray a little. then , get to bed. after a long day id be pretty exhausted. just lay down in the darkness, and start dreaming.
