So Trump is in office since 9 months. I think a lot happened. Very anti-democratic policies, authoritarian measures, trade wars, moodswings on Ukraine.
Will this continue for 3 more years? Will he be a lame duck after the mid-terms?
I cannot evaluate the popularity of Trump. I noticed that after my failure about the election prediction 2024. In Germany I am better in assessing the popularity of our politicians.
Will Trump leave office? Some of his supporters sympathized with a third term. But they defended it as a bait project to trigger the libs. Trump will become older and he won't be able to hide that.
I mean it is likely J.D. Vance is chosen to be his successor. But I think Vance is ideologically way worse than Trump. But he has no charisma. Would he be an easier opponent for the Democrats?
I cannot imagine the elections 2028 will be completely free and fair. And in case the GOP loses they wouldn't repeat Jan 6th.
I am not sure how sick Americans will be after 4 years of the Trump regime. But if online media favors Republicans again they will find a new narrative that blame all the bad things on Trump, and with J.D. Vance there will be a new better version of Trump.
I could imagine the framing of the assasination of Charlie Kirk painted a picture that actually Democrats would be the evil extremists. And some independents might adapted this stance.
I wish I could spend some months in the US once in my life. But this will never happen. With my sensitive sleep rhytm (bipolar) this would be a nightmare for my mental health. I don't want to spend so much money and I fear the US agencies which scrutiny my online postings. If they found my SaSu postings I would be done. Lol.
