Lmao I was awful at Mortal Kombat. I played simple games like Mario, Pokemon, Animal Crossing.

Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon were probably my favorites. My friends and I would play Super Smash Bros occassionally and take stupid pictures (like Yoshi coming out of Donkey Kong's butt or something).

Metal Slug 3

I remember every time we had summer break when i was in school our family would go to our parents hometown in Mexico, i would hate going because i knew i wouldn't be able to play my regular video games because we didn't really had those same luxuries, parents come from a poor are. The only thing that would keep me entertained was this one arcade cabinet that was at small store at the end of the street, i would spend hours playing Metal Slug 3 non stop, i would be there every day.

Ratchet and Clank, Halo Combat Evolved, like every Mario game, Dawn of War, Fallout, Shadow of Colossus and Sonic Adventure Battle 2 are the games I can remember most vividly from my childhood.

What I remember more than anything though is the pink boxes of death when my PS2 crapped out :))

I really liked Sonic 3 & Knuckles on Sega Mega Drive. I played it so much as a kid.

Other memorable games to me: Final Fantasy (I can't pick one because so many of them were great), Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Tomb Raider, Pokémon

I clicked fast and then remembered how old I was. Peoples childhood memories are now my adult regrets. It's horrible. I need to play my SNES and Megadrive again. As long as I can live in the nineties forever I'll be ok

I used to have a ZX spectrum. you used have to wait about 30mins for a game to load, and loads of times it would crash and you'd have to start again lol.

Minecraft was the only video game I played when I was a kid, and that was thanks to a classmate who brought it on a flash drive and passed it around so everyone could copy it to theirs. Otherwise I knew nothing about video games.

On the MegaDrive I loved Road Rash 2, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2 and Sonic Spinball. And Psycho Pinball lol.

The Sega Saturn was a wicked machine too - Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, Sega Rally.

Tetris on the original Gameboy was brilliant. The music brings back so many good memories.

@checkouttime if you like the side-scrolling beat em ups do you remember Batman Returns on the snes? That was great fun. You could walk into someone and pick them up. Then you could slam them to the floor, throw them up against the walls, or pick another person up and bang them both together haha

paper mario!!!!!! animal crossing, of course, nintendo games are so nostalgic. cooking mama on the DS when it was new *:・゚✧ ✧゚・:

the very first ever was mario and
luigi superstar saga on the gameboy advanced XP!

that one took me a decade to beat, I put it away out of frustration and finally finished it as an adult.

Anyone play pajama sam? Haha
YES OMG.

AND PUTT PUTT AND THE SPY FOX and this absolutely epic one called Junior Field Trips with Buzzy The Knowledge Bug where it's at an airport. The theme to the mini game 'lost luggage' is a

@checkouttime Yes Sega were great especially in the early 90's. I loved their mad tv adverts too!
I went on to get a Playstation too. I got Tekken for it. Ooh and Doom as well, a double disc game I think I remember it being. Think it had Doom and Doom 2 on it. That's one of my fave games ever. The original Dooms from the 90's.

Anyway, look i found this clip of Batman Returns on the snes. This brings back memories!

About 10k hours went on Counter-Strike 1.6 alone. Dozens of mods, thousands of servers, lot's of fun, about just as much frustration. Been a part of various CS communities, and some of them felt like a second family at the time, like some may feel about SS.

And about one-third of that amount of time went on TES 2-5 games: Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind and Daggerfall. I don't think this this series requires introduction. TES games are good enough as they are but the colossal effort the modding community has put into customizing the base game is what makes them great. People are developing mods for themselves and others (not primarily for money like big gaming industries), and probably because of that they want to make good mods.

I really like Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Around 25 playthroughs in total. Funny dialogues. Playing as a badass vampire. One of the few games where I really liked the gameplay even though it wasn't very challenging. There are a two clans that allow for a quite unique playthrough. (Malkavian, Nosferatu.) I wouldn't recommend them for the first one though. I liked the leveling system. Instead of earning XP from murdering everything on sight, you get it from doing quests, so there's no pressure to start a massacre. (Still doable though.)

I also liked KotOR 2 The Sith Lords. The dialogues are written very thoughtfully, and there are lots of philosophy stuff. Kreia and HK are probably one of my most favorite characters in video games. When I was a kid I liked this game purely from gameplay perspective, mostly I couldn't understand what they were talking about.

OK, I think I should stop here somewhere.
