I actually thought it would just be as simple as downing a bottle of the antidepressants I was on alongside some alcohol. That's always how the films and television portrayed suicide... I never knew it would be this difficult to get it right.

Jumping off a high rise, or overdosing. Tried the latter so often and it never worked, sadly.
SN is now my choice.

I haven't actually tried anything yet! The cable ties were my plan before I found this site. Tbh I do think cable ties can actually work if you tighten hard enough around your neck but not as effective as hanging. Would probably take a while and feel like shit.

When I first started having suicidal thoughts the only method I could think of was jumping. Well it turned out that I have an intense fear of heights. So I eventually settled for hanging. But I messed up my partial attempts and was too scared for full suspension. So I ordered N.

I guess you have a vague idea of suicide at first but over time you start to refine your methods. Aside from gunowners who else has easy access to lethal methods? Most people have no idea what it takes to kill yourself. The media has brainwashed the general population into thinking suicide is as easy as downing a few pills.

Plastic bag and tape is brutal. Holy shit no one needs to be driven to the point where this should even seem like an option. That is why information on reliable and peaceful methods should be available. People are going to kill themselves no matter what. At least give them the option of a peaceful death.

Overdosing on prescription medications: arcoxia (etoricoxib) and Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine). Paracetamol at one point. Also jumping from a tall building—in my country this contributes to the majority of deaths by suicide.

Yeah you have to prepare for the most batshit insane misfortune to escape this world. It is almost like it is programmed to keep us here sometimes.

Somehow I had convinced myself to try cutting my wrists. I wish I could find that stupid amount of courage again, but I ended up not going through with it once I saw the low success rate. TV shows and movies lied to us all.
