I've seen a lot of people say that we don't need assisted suicide laws because people can commit suicide anyway. Which makes you wonder why assisted suicide is illegal.

"illegal immigrants are beneficial (for X, Y, Z, reason) and for that they deserve to stay here illegally!" + "ICE is evil for doing their job!"
to emphasize, i am ONLY referring to ILLEGAL immigrants.
as a previously illegal (legal since 2018) immigrant, there is no excuse to live in america for 30+ years, benefit from government assistance + work illegally without documents and NOT legalize yourself at some point. if you can put in the work to get food stamps, you can put in the work to get a waiver for green card + citizenship fees.
this is a bit more of rant but im tired of cities like nyc getting overrun by illegal immigration. and no, innocent families are not at fault. but when those innocent families are followed in by criminals and gang members, they will get caught in the crossfire of ICE. (who are jsut doing their job) and it's exhausting to see the same good faith but ignorant excuse of "these families did nothing wrong, sure theyre illegal but they deserve to live here too!!!" inevitably become a blanket of protection that start to defend the criminals too.
and it eventually becomes enforced by bad politics that enable illegal + criminal activity to thrive.
