The last actual movie we saw or the last movie we saw that we had never seen prior to that?

Trainspotting. It just popped in my head randomly, I was like "Man I gotta watch Trainspotting" and I did.
It's now my favorite movie... hell yeah I'd watch it again

The Fugitive with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. I have seen it several times and watch it every time I come across it on TV. It's one of those types of movies that I love and never get tired of watching. I think the last movie I saw, that I had never seen previously was Ready or Not. It was alright. Not one that I would watch repeatedly.

I've watched it many times and its an old one, but for me it's Stalker. It's slow but it's intense. Would and will watch again.

The Lord of The Rings- the trilogy of films. I generally have it playing in the background at least once a year. I work from home and my job can be monotonous and time consuming so, I often have stuff on in the background. I have an annual pilgrimage of a whole buch of films and series. But yes- I'm sure I will watch it again. It makes me feel like I've gone on the mission with them.

As for a recent film I saw for the first time- The Menu (2022.) I've already rewatched it from that moment to this.

I love films. I'll keep an eye on this thread...

The Other Boleyn Girl. Pretty tragic. I wouldn't have watched it on my own but I was with my cousin and his girlfriend. I wouldn't watch it again but I'd recommend it. Lately I've been loving dramatic adaptations of history.

A serbian film. Wanted to see what the fuss about it was. Luckily only found a version where they cut off most of the actual disgusting scenes.
It's a bad movie though. No real coherent story and they just make it as fucked up as possible to compensate I guess?
Wouldn't rewatch.

The Holdovers (2023). I liked that it didn't overly dramatise anything; the story felt very grounded and believable. One quote stuck with me when one of the characters points out another's tiredness with life.

"You can't even dream a whole dream, can you?"

Sunset Limited was a nice movie, I like that they focussed on the dialogue throughout, with the entire movie just being set in one room. The back and forth between the two characters was very interesting to follow as well, and I understood where both of them were coming from.

It was essentially just a big back and forth between a pro-lifer and a pro choice individual.
