I already know what my answer is, but I'm just curious to see what others think.

What time of day do you think is the best to ctb and why?

There's no right or wrong answer, I just want to know people's opinions.

I would say night as well, while everyone is asleep. Depending on your method, the chances of being found are greater. For me personally, I am doing CO in a tent inside of my shed. My father works all day long, so I could get away with doing it during the day. Especially right now, actually, because I never slept last night...so I'm already tired and if I drink a lot I'll fall right asleep. But for some reason I am worried that the people on the other side of the fence might come out...not that they would see me or know what I was doing...but it just worries me for whatever reason. I'd definitely be dead by the time my dad got home though. I guess it's all just a matter of preference.

It would be cool to sit in a field of grass watching the clouds over a blue sky one last time. But there isn't anywhere close to something like that that isn't public and I sure as hell don't won't to be around anybody to spoil my mood.

Morning for me. My energy wanes throughout the day, and when night comes I'm not well enough to kill myself.
I can understand that. I would ideally prefer to ctb in the morning or afternoon, since that is when I have more energy and I feel more like doing it lol.

Besides, there's just something about dying in the morning that I like. But I don't know, maybe I will still have to do it in the evening when it's dark.

Probably morning when everyone has left for work. I'm going by partial suspension with alcohol, in my room. So i don't want to make noise & be caught.

My strongest wishes to die seem to occur around 2 pm.

The daylight is so bright then that I so badly want to be dead and buried so I don't have to see another one of these days beating me in the skull.

Wow, how I hate this kind of sunlight. I hate warm weather in general.

Early evening and a glass of gin with tonic before the exit.
Any Friday, 9pm sounds perfect.

Same. I've only ever been able to attempt at night though because of my circumstances. I'm (unfortunately) very mentally alert at night, but physical fatigue sets in early for me.

Some nights I get up, walk out of the house with intent, and realise I absolutely do not have the strength to carry myself any more, and that the only reason I made it out of the house was willpower, and the moment I paused for breath the fatigue became too much. I have rehearsed a lot in this manner. I have revised my plans to require less walking at night, but it worries me.

Broadly speaking, though, night for almost all methods. For some people, it's definitely better to do it 'round the onset of the working day. And if you live alone and don't have neighbours close by or people checking up on you, you probably have the luxury of choosing. I'd go in the early morning if I could; once the day sets in, it feels so terribly heavy, far too bright. The sheer habit of living to distract oneself sets in. Where I live, night is too dark (impractically so outside without a light - great for living a peaceful life, though).

Night-time/early hours of the morning. It's more comforting I feel to do it then, less people around. I feel hyper aware during the day because of being able to hear other people going about their daily routines, etc. It makes me feel more anxious and prone to panic attacks even though I'm indoors. I suppose a concern of mine is if I'm somehow heard throwing up and/or making a lot of noise (the walls are quite thin here), although with the Metoclopramide and such this hopefully shouldn't be the case. I over worry far too much I think.

Just before Dawn when everyone is still asleep, it is so quiet.

For me it's going to be in the middle of the night (2-3am or so), that way I can ensure nobody will spot my car / find me and get in the way before I can finish.

A cool night with a star clear sky because of the nostalgic feel and the quiet associated with the night or a sunny cool day like on spring or fall/autumn it would be perfect <3

I would prefer night time if I had the opportunity, mostly due to darkness and more seclusion, less people means there are less chances of being found. Also, most people are asleep so it is easier to attempt with less chances of intervention.

Probably 0500-0600, during nautical twilight. People still really aren't awake and active, but there's a certain beauty about those hours that has always entranced me. Although, I will admit I always entertained the idea of doing it publicly during a midday break, just to give some hapless corporate drone some excitement in their life.
