  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Back when I could afford therapy, it actually helped a great deal as long as I had a good therapist. I had a couple here and there who were iffy but most were good to me. I was diagnosed with manic depression (bipolar) and adhd, with a possibility of OCD instead but I had to stop therapy before we could look into it more. Being medicated and going to talk therapy greatly improved my mental health and gave me more perspective, making me feel less insane. If I were able to go now I wonder if I would feel better again. Unfortunately the US sucks and that shit is expensive.

CBT for chronic pain - suspect it won't be much use - NHS is obsessed with CBT for everything now - it's their way of making it look like they're doing something for people they have no solution for

My official diagnosis is PTSD but it's actually CPTSD+PTSD. Before that I had multiple other diagnoses like BPD, OCD or shizoid personality but they were wrong. I tried therapy but briefly and I didn't make any progress, unfortunately I am too unstable and my therapist was not equipped to deal with my severe issues

I first saw a therapist when I was 12. since then, I have seen... five(?) different therapists. maybe more, I honestly don't remember. unfortunately they either just did not really care or did not know how to help me. therapists are good, I think, if your depression has a direct cause (for example, the passing of a family member) but if it is deep-rooted, most of them will struggle. you would be better off seeing a psychologist and getting on some meds.
