Funerals are for the living imo, so I expect them to play mostly things that will make my relatives happy. This song would make a decent note for anyone I didn't feel needed a personal note, however.

Not that I'd want a funeral, but if some demented relative insisted upon having one, I guess it would be somewhat fitting for them to play Rush "Marathon" just because it's an awesome song that still blows me away after listening to it for twenty years.

Only someone who has looked death in the eye could have written "Like a stone". Cornell was very open about his battle with depression and addiction. He fell on too many bad days :-( @succor
