Im on amazon right now. I need to know what type of rope to buy. Thickness, material. I'm 4ft11 110lbs I'm going to be doing a partial suspension hanging from a door knob.

There're threads where this has been asked over and over again.Why don't you link them since I am having trouble finding it.
What is a dock line rope? Never heard of thatfrom what i've read, nylon rope seems to be the best option. thickness should be around 14-18mm. personally i got a 3m nylon rope that is 16mm thick i believe.
just don't get manila. i bought it and it's hardly malleable, making it a real bitch to tie up.

Double braided dock line. Strong and smooth.
Great for securing your boat too! A 1/2 inch line has a tensile strength of 7400 lbs. Pretty good!Last edited:
