It can be anything- books, films, TV series, games, musical lyrics even.

I'll give an example- I would love to have a brother like the character in the UK detective series: 'Inspector Morse'. The episode: 'Dead on Time.' He's funny and eccentric but most of all- he cares deeply for and supports his sister. It must be nice to have a supportive sibling going through life.

I loved that in the series 'The Matrix'- in the most recent one that- even when divided- playing different life roles, the main characters still felt a connection. I suppose, the notion of soul mates.

In a lot of UK detective series- I have envied the friendships between inspectors and detectives. Again, they often end up caring about one another and looking out for each other.

Has there been a particular relationship or character you envied in a piece of media?

Lets's say you had to pick one. Say- pick a mother, father, sister, brother, partner, best friend and boss/ mentor from a piece of media.

I'm going to have to take longer to think about it for my picks. I think maybe Samwise Gangee from Lord of the Rings would be a great pick for a best friend. I think for a boss, Inspector Lynley maybe. He's very respectful and protective. Worf from Star Trek I think would be a good mentor. Very strict/ kind of harsh and moody but then- very strong core values.

It's kind of obvious, given the username, but I love the relationship between the good T-800 and the Connors. He really comes to love them. Also, Kyle and Sarah have such a sweet, pure love. "I came across time for you, Sarah… I love you. I always have."

Conan and Valeria are very cute.

The crews in Star Trek, the Matrix, Predator, and some military movies have a very strong and obvious brotherhood and unity.

But there are so many sweet relationships. Sara Crewe in A Little Princess always thinking the best of people, and her care for all the girls at Miss Minchin's; everything little Heidi does in her book and her infectious love of all; the sisters of Little Women and books like Sense and Sensibility; the girls in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' friendship. So on.
