What pills to take before nitrogen for comfort?

Hi all,

I have my setup for nitrogen. Before doing it, I would like to take some pills to minimize anxiety or discomfort.

I am thinking some benzos would help? Is there something else I should take? Sleeping pills? Anti-emetic?

That's the reason benzos exist. There's no need for sleeping pills or anti-emetics with this method.

Though you should of course reflect on what it is your anxiety is telling you before embarking on any attempt.

personally, i'd actually rather use MDMA for reducing SI. unlike benzos, it can still drastically reduce the fear response without leaving you feeling blunted or sedated

however, others may prefer feeling blunted and sedated before going through with their method. others have also felt like the euphoria they get from MDMA makes them not want to go through with their method. i haven't really experienced this, as i still heavily considered suicide during an MDMA experience, but that could still be something worth noting

No. Metoprolol is not beneficial for your N₂ EEBD procedure protocol, despite being a standard treatment for tachycardia in general medical contexts.

I actually made a 6hr and 3hr med schedule to pick depending on time constraints.This is the 6 hour one.
NOTE-I have done this specifically for me! I dont recommend nor encourage anyone following it.

My main areas of concern when putting this together -Migraines,vomiting in hood +aspiration.


MEDICATION TIMELINE
• Morning: Paxil (paroxetine) + Topamax (topiramate)
• T-3 hrs: Ultram ER (tramadol extended-release)
• T-2 hrs: Nexium (esomeprazole) + Zofran (ondansetron) + Electrolyte drink(no sugar preferably I think)
• T-45 min: Albuterol inhaler (Ventolin/ProAir) + Gaviscon
• T-30 min: Albuterol inhaler (2–4 puffs)

I read that its actually a negative to take pregabalin just for the procedure.
It introduces risks.
If you had been taking it for a while and levels are stabilized then its ok(in this case they say you shouldn't skip the dose before procedure either).

You can't just decide to take something because it will calm you down etc.Medications have extensive effects in different situations so be careful.
Always verify these things ,even what I wrote has to be verified.

Five years ago, when I was first on this site, nitrogen was the method I was going to use and researched extensively.

There shouldn't be any discomfort with the nitrogen method, that's one of the big appeals. If you start feeling like you're gasping for air or feeling suffocated, something is wrong with the setup.

I am currently looking at doing the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate CO2 method (less faffing about, significantly cheaper, something I can get set up in a shorter time frame.) I am contemplating using either some OTC sleeping medication and/or alcohol, but I would like to die sober for personal reasons.
