Having to live in a world where people don't realize how fucked up the world really is. The movie the matrix is a great metaphore - the people who don't know go about their lives with blinders on. The people who do know can't change anything (Neo, excluded), and some wish they didn't know.

The fact that we have to work in order to exist, social factors, living standards, stress, inequality and injustice?
Excuses for bad behavior, toxic work environments, attention competitions, discrimination, negligent parents, lousy partners, crappy roommates, fucked up people, snoops, invasion, and injustice.

Sounds like Iraq
United States.

Repeated torment. Repeated insults. Repeated problems. Repeated history. They say to break the cycle of abuse, but society won't ALLOW people to break the cycle. They don't ALLOW us to escape abuse. And then they arrogantly repeat themselves until someone finally commits suicide, and then when they do, people continue to do this to the next person, and then the next person, and then the next person.

We try to be better or stronger but we're always in this cat and mouse "game", it's not a fucking game.

I wish I would've just killed my own mother when I was about 12. I would've served time in juvenile detention and been able to get an education and a better chance at life.

Oh so tell me more. Okay so I'm going to just hurt you anyway. And then laugh in your face again. People are horrible.

That nothing makes any fuckin sense.
We get thrown into a world without consent, without knowing why we're here, raised by bad rolemodels, expected to be good people, work our asses off for food while billionaires waste their cash on designer shit and adjust for our partners for them to abuse us. And then we finally achieve the life we want just to get some chronic illness cause some chemicals in our body decide to give up or do a switcheroo or whatever, or we get hit by a car, get cancer or do nothing but grow old and so we die anyways and then what was it all for? I don't know. Would be easier not be be born at all in my opinion.

Nothing ever gets better . It only gets worse.

We live in a system where most people pretend everything gets better and that drives me insane

Life is not a Hollywood movie. There is no happy ending. What is the point of existence if all you are doing is just waiting to die?

I love this post. I completely agree. Some lives are just not worth living. What is the point of struggling all your life just to die unceremoniously at the end? Never being born is the best option and dying as soon as possible is the next best option. Withering in old age is a worse fate than death. But since we are genetically programmed to fear death, people just hold on til the bitter end.

live to work. Work to live.

It's crazy that we have to work most of our waking lives in dehumanizing conditions just to barely afford to stay alive. Meanwhile others are traveling the world on their private jets and luxury yachts while other people make money for them. Life really is a lottery. Be born to wealthy and kind parents and you will probably have a good life. Be born to poor and abusive parents and your life will be a living hell.

Cops. Police bother me most about my existence. The fuckers beat the Bajeezus out of me for blasting Beethoven Moonlight Sonata on my damn Birthday. In a hotel. Fackin redneck pigs got no musical taste. No appreciation for Beethoven. Side note: Time slows down when police barge through the door. It's as if the music and the motion sync. I got slammed backwards over a table and 4 cops piled on top, ramming their knees into my kidneys. Hog tied my wrists and ankles, they done, And it all flowed perfectly to the music tempo.

I know, it does sound like I enjoyed that. And I guess maybe I did.

Just that suffering exists.

The suffering part.
This is what I find the most distressing. Suffering. Whether physical or mental. As someone with chronic illness, I realised that suffering can be so profoundly horrible that it makes death, the thing people usually fear most, a preferable option.

What bothers me the most is the way the medical community misstreats ME/CFS patients.
100% agree, when I started getting symptoms that are in common with ME/CFS, I looked into it and was shocked by how such a debilitating condition is commonly ignored, dismissed, and mistreated. The suffering of ME/CFS patients is extreme, and made worse by the difficulty of having it that makes seeking help and simple tasks almost impossible. Not to mention the medical abuse and complete lack of support very often experienced by people who have it.

Forgive me for this possibly useless suggestion, but have you looked into Dr. Igor Markov and his autovaccine treatments for ME/CFS? My heart goes out to you.

At this point? Being awake. Not trying to be funny, nor dramatic, as soon as I wake up the mental agony resumes and everything having to do with people, even people I live with reminds me of how horribly alone and misunderstood I truly am.

Pain in its myriad of forms, of course. It all boils down to pain. Existential dread is just a fancy type of pain. I wouldn't mind experiencing only pleasure for 70-80 years & then dropping dead & disappearing forever.

The fact that without a brain there will be absolutely no way to experience pain and suffering. Being born without consent into this world with all the neurons in your brain torturing you with pain signals of hunger, thirst, emotional pain, etc. Life is unnecessary yet most people are too blinded by their animalistic urge to procreate like the barely intelligent apes that they are.

Pain in its myriad of forms, of course. It all boils down to pain. Existential dread is just a fancy type of pain. I wouldn't mind experiencing only pleasure for 70-80 years & then dropping dead & disappearing forever.
Yes. The perfect 'heaven' for me would be all the pain receptors in my brain removed and I'm flooded with serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin all the time. That is the best kind of heaven, not even the mainstream Gods could understand.
