What Middle East country confers the death penalty for trafficking drugs?

Well you can't go wrong with heroin. Iran has one of the highest execution rates in the world, and both drug trafficking and blasphemy are capital crimes there. So you could double up and sell heroin while insulting the Prophet of Islam to maximize your chances of a death sentence.

This is the the slowest, riskiest, and most painful method of CTB I've seen yet. Before and during the trial you could spend years in prison suffering under brutal conditions including torture. The sentence is out of your control, so you might end up getting life in prison instead. You'd probably be better off just OD'ing on the heroin.

Anyway, as others have mentioned, ctb via capital execution is a non-method. Id assume this is true regardless of country, and ctb by cop is also a non-method.

I would think most countries would simply deport you or use you as leverage in negotiations with your home country. Iran did issue a fatwa on all writers, editors, and publishers of 'The Satanic Verses' though causing multiple deaths around the world. Perhaps if you attempt to distribute copies of the book around Tehran a rando will attack you before you can be arrested and deported. Good luck finding copies of the book written in Persian though.
