I currently work as a machine operator on a packaging machine at a coffee roaster.

I'd prefer to be NEET. I sometimes joke I'm a part-time hikikomori, because when I'm not at work I'm shut in at home.

Retail. It's actually a really friendly place. I mostly work in an isolated area (and one of the few places without security cameras) so people don't see me most of the time and I can exercise, listen to music, and avoid social interaction 80% of the shift. Currently on 3 week break but returning soon. I'm kinda shocked to say I'm looking forward to it.

Disappointed a lot of people going this route though, I'm Asian.

I'm in school full time and currently in the interviewing process for a part time job that is adjacent to EMS. In the past I've worked different jobs including blue collar work, retail, food service, gig economy, as well as entry level office jobs.

I'm a disability support worker. I make meals, clean the house, shower clients, wipe their bottom, give out medication, give lifts, etc. I actually really like my job.

I'm a receptionist and I do admin on the side. It doesn't pay a lot but it keeps me busy. I'm thankful to be working from home, so I don't have to interact with anybody.

I was an hgv driver but I quit work after my attempt to ctb earlier this year.
I loved driving the things but the jobs that come with them are just riddled with bullshit and time wasting, plus the pay isn't stellar unless you specialise.

I do venue hire, basically I am on the ground so I open up for people, supervise them, take care of any needs. It's quite varied, sometimes I have to clean sometimes I have to be a car park attendent. Generally it is pretty quiet so I can spend a lot of time to myslef or just reading you just have to be there for when something kicks off haha. I actullay find it quite tolerable

I work part time at a popular retailer stocking merchandise, helping people find stuff, etc. When I first signed on I thought maybe I could actually use my management degree and maybe get promoted eventually but I've come to realize that being a supervisor at this place sucks and the low level job I have is way more chill and with way less responsibilities and I get a free workout every night and I still get all the benefits and stuff.

I teach English as a foreign language in China. Honestly, it's not as glamorous as it sounds; I'm tempted to return to the US and get a job with my state.

I'm a videogame programmer. I lead the programming team, create the coding architecture for the game, create the most complex features, fix complex bugs. This was/is my dream job but even so here I am.

i'm a substitute teacher and substitute teaching assistant. i mainly do the simple things like sit quietly and be disappointed at how many teachers never prepare real lesson plans. people work harder than me without getting paid. i really do nothing important or helpful most days. the most i do well is give the class a break. i guess i get paid to pretend the public school system in my area is working. i couldnt find any other jobs to keep me. they say i'm too slow. i could easily be a NEET if i didnt have access to this government type job. i guess i'll never be out of "work" i dont get any benefits tho.

I have a freelance creative job. It's quite niche so, I don't tend to name it specifically on here. I used to think it was all I would need to be happy. I'm not sure whether it's because it's unstable and always under threat that I'm not. Or, whether I've just grown tired of it too. Probably a bit of both.
