I'm just curious about the distribution. I expect most to be overweight. I do mean healthy/average in a medical context, not the average American's weight, or what you personally consider to be "healthy".

I am fat and getting fatter. I wear a size 10 or 12 US depending on the brand. I was averaging around 8 but messed up by taking some psych meds that make you eat like a horse. My appetite is still elevated.

It is what it is, but I feel for the people who have to remove my body eventually.

One of the few good things about coming up on my exit date is that I no longer care about putting on a few extra pounds.

Interesting topic - I place myself at avg. I'm lit only 170ish pounds - haven't weighed myself in a bit, but I bike everyday so I burn off easy whatever I consume otherwise, but don't go overboard on junk food, and really only drink full bodied (beers mostly) but even then that's a rare-time consumption.
Also I'm approaching middle age.

Healthy-under. I typically hang out just above the underweight line (atypical anorexic)

I am at the very bottom of the healthy range (BMI of 18.7; healthy is 18.5-24.9). I have lost 5 pounds in two months without wanting or trying to. I do not eat enough to sustain my activity level. But I am trying to get better nutrition so I have more energy. Logging everything I eat and drink.

It's getting closest to my lowest weight of my adult life, in the past I was actually underweight for a time. but back then, I addicted to meth. now... It's a mix of stress, dissociative drug use, and increasingly worse digestive issues / shrinking dietary choices making things difficult.

If I could keep or gain weight I could. Maybe I need to take nutrition shakes on a schedule at this point?

I am extremely underweight, to the point where doctors have told me if "anything is going to take me out" (their phrase) it'll be my heart because of how underweight I am. This is due to multiple GI problems and conditions and also having such a limited diet which makes it a real struggle to gain weight. I personally suspect at least one or two other undiagnosed GI conditions but the doctors have written me off as a hypochondriac and blame almost all my physical issues on my mental state (which I know can contribute to, but I do not believe is the CAUSE of, all my physical health problems)

I've been trying for literally years to put on weight and can't. I do drink Ensure and include foods with 'good fats' and high calorie foods but...just can't put any real weight on and if I do manage to put on a few lbs, i usually lose that again quick enough. I wish I could instantly gain like 20-25 lbs.

I'm horrible at weight contribution so i terribly apologize if i am incorrect in my info, i'm going off what others have told me
i am around 180 CM and my weight is somewhere around 46 or 50 KG. (Most likely 54?) Apparently this was a shock to my friend cuz' this is very underweight? I thought the average weight for 180 was 65-81 KG so i'm a little confused but it's what i've been told by someone trusted ??
i've noticed i've just never been able to gain much weight, i don't eat much so that might be why (i normally only eat dinner and even then it's a small portion) but i eat a lot of sweets so i don't see why i'm still "underweight"
honestly, it confuses the hell out of me but i don't have heart problems so i never pay attention to it.
i do have trouble running though i have a lot of lung problems so it might be that just causing pain in my chest. Honestly, who knows.

OWYN shakes are really good. I have an angry digestive system and have nothing but good things to say about these shakes. Soylent tore me up and tastes terrible.

Try out their protein shakes first. They're more readily available. If you like them, order from Amazon.
Wow, I'm really surprised by the numbers so far. This definitely paints a picture of most here suffering from severe MDD. Anhedonia and dead appetite are real.
