this has always been my lucky number ever since i was a kid. Its a really popular number now with famous people etc and it kind of annoys me cos im likeee....heyyy it was mine first!!! haha. I am VERY superstitious with numbers. One of the main reasons I wouldn't kill myself right now is because im 28 andI dont like the number!!!

It's one of the keys to enlightenment. The numbers relate to almost all known mathematical formulas. It's also very big in Theology and responsible for the infinity symbol.
It would take alot of time to fully explain it all. You should dig into it some.

You don't need a massive understanding of math for it. You ever notice how people who are "enlightened" never give a quick or simple explanation? The reason being is that you have to find the answers yourself, otherwise you wouldn't believe or appreciate it. It's the old saying "I can show you the door but you have to walk through it."

My favorite number is 4. In Vegas, I play 4 sometimes in roulette after drinking too much to continue coherently playing blackjack, and it seems like I get some dirty looks sometimes from some of the Asians playing next to me. Not sure if it's true, but one time someone told me that some Asians dislike the number 4, because it sounds like the word "death" in either Mandarin or Cantonese? Seems kind of ironic now that I'm here on SS.
Would love for someone who speaks either of those languages to chime in and tell if this is true? Maybe the issue is 4 sounds like death in Vietnamese? I can't recall with certainty what language it was supposedly an issue with.

It's kind of interesting it seems like people have similar favorite numbers.. my friends favorite number was 4 and a lot of peoples here too. I like 24 and someone said that, also other numbers seem to be repeating quite often. Also interesting that the favorite number doesn't go too high

Interesting observation. I wonder if we would see the exact same pattern and the exact same numbers on a pro life forum.

I lived on the 14th floor and had to tell the elevator lady where to take me every day when I got home, which was always good for a laugh. But it gave me time to ponder the differences between the two sounds.
