it's where you squeeze both carotids so your brain gets no blood.

Basically you prevent the brain from receiving oxygen-rich blood by blocking the catorid arteries. Hypothetically, you will start to lose conscious and be braindead after a while as the brain lacks the oxygen needed to run.

Though the risk is if survival instinct kicks in or some form of intervention in between, it may result in permanent brain damage or be in vegetative state.

i don't understand it either. from the illustrations i saw, they branch off the closer it gets to your head. i did get a tourniquet as a last ditch measure. strap is kind of thick. probably end up crushing my adam's apple
