I watched animals get skinned alive on Run The Gauntlet back in highschool. That's truely a horrific sight.

I have a horrible memory from when I was a child of a nasty horrible man who was beating his poor dog with a stick.
It made me feel physically ill, and traumatised me and I will never forget the cries of pain the poor creature was making.
I told my mother and the rspca rescued the dog thankfully.
Me and a few other kids threw bricks through all his windows because we despised him.

And it wasn't the sight of it that was so disturbing but, the scream was piercing. Cuts right through you like a knife. I'll never forget it.

I saw a ghost. There was a human shadow on the wall. There shouldn't have been. Everyone in the house was dead. I called out to it but the shadow ignored me. My dog was very agitated towards its general direction. I'm still afraid of ghosts and the dark, its been 13ish years.

I still think the shadow was my Dad's. Maybe his final goodbye.

Just a couple childhood memories of my mom getting strangled by her boyfriend's lover and the many many times my mom has tried to kill me. Pretty silly

i've watched a ton of disturbing videos mainly bc i enjoy horror/gore sometimes but something just disturbs me, those videos that pop up every now and again that start off normally then end with a shit ton of mutilation of animals or humans, mainly cuz its unexpected. i'd like to say i can understand the ppl who make videos like that but honestly its hard to justify their actions, other than that maybe a few murder tapes, they're eerie but i enjoy revisiting them for a nice scare

In my personal life, probably the aftermath of a car accident. Car went underneath a semi truck and it decapitated everyone inside. Didn't see the bodies firsthand but the amount of fucking blood was unreal.

On the internet? Fuck, man. Gore videos, fnkytwn was probably the absolute worst since the whole point was to keep the guy alive to feel everything

I've seen a bunch of gore videos but honestly they never bothered me, maybe I'm weird. It's something that already happened and I can do nothing about. It's also not a surprise that such things have happened and will continue to happen in the world. So nothing about it disturbs me, other than it being a bit gross/icky to look at.

The most disturbing thing I've actually seen that immediately comes to mind is walking in on my housemate at uni holding a knife to his throat curled up in the foetal position in his bedroom.

One clarification on the gore, animal abuse stuff does bother me a lot, but I haven't seen much of that. I guess it's because you know for sure that an animal is innocent.

I think it was a 'shockumentary' movie made by multiple clips - some real, some fakes. But they wouldn't tell you which one of them was real or not.
I couldn't finish the whole thing. It's actually the only 'movie' I couldn't literally bring myself to watch till the end in my life.
One of the most disturbing things (and I know it was a real clip since they actually used to do that in some part of the world) consisted in a monkey served alive in a restaurant, its head was the only part emerging from a round table. The 'cook' or whatever that was, then proceeded to hit the monkey in the head with a small hammer and the animal immediately passes out. After that they chop its head so that the brains were exposed and the fucking people at the table started eating that shit with spoons. I'm feeling sick only typing this.
And that was only one clip from the whole thing.

i've seen a lot of bad gore. i think some of the worsts were the following.

- a video of three girls stepping on a baby kitten until it died. the worst part was the squeaks the animal made it was so helpless and i felt so bad for it.
- on run the gauntlet, not even the gore videos, but the porn ones, where the girls were licking the deick, but it had like that gross ass white sutff on it i wanted to throw up
- on that note 2 girls 1 cup. took me years to watch the whole video that things discusting.
- at first i was, but after a while i stopped being fazed by any video of someone being cut apart, limbs just flinging around became normal.
- child gore thats still stuck in my mind, saw a few kids supposedly from cherynoble. they looked like aliens almost.
- certain sh gore. specifically one video with a filter on it with the song "go kitty go" behind it. it was kinda fucked up so it's still stuck in my mind. the sh was really bad too, like limbs almost falling off idfk how ppl do that to themselves. even tho i've sh'd
- i used to and still do get intrusive thoughts. the worst ones were thoughts of someone breaking into my house and slicing my pet's necks. my brain used to play it in detail on repeat and i just hated it. technically i didn't "see" it but it still disturbed me a lot because i love my pets.
