me dreams would be to jump off a cliff and end up on a beach

I've thought about that, but thinking of all that sand on my cheese and onion packed lunch sandwiches has always made me hold back.
That's pretty much my plan. Leave an apology note for them. It probably won't help them much, but it's something at least.

Dear Sir/Madam

I'm very sorry you found my bloody body here (and brains over there).

Yours faithfully,

Charles Trevor Brown.

That should do it...

Still beachy head cliffs
I really want to. I just don't have the courage. When I walk by I feel happy for the souls who got released.

A hotel for me.

I feel shitty about the hotel staff who find me, but it's better than my parents finding me at home.

Yeah, right. Tell that to the poor 18-year old girl staff member who does her job for a pittance and has to find a stiff on her morning shift...

I like your sense of humor haha.

I acknowledge that it's a really shitty thing to do to hotel staff. Unfortunately I don't have many options when it comes to location.

I'm glad you appreciate the funny side of my dark humour. It's lost on some here, I feel.

But I prefer responsibility and accountability to 'unfortunately'. You say you 'don't have many options' which = you have some. Can't you choose even one that doesn't entail some poor young lass on a pittance wage finding your horribly rigamortised corpse whilst changing your bed linen? I'm sure you could work on it a bit more, and save her a lifetime of nightmares....
Hotel is the best place. Cause no-one will disturb you from ctbing

It is NOT the best place. Not if you are the hotel staff member that has to find you horribly deceased. So selfish. Beyond me, totally!

A log cabin in the deep mountains or on a deep forest. Both of them to hang myself.

I'd like to be somewhere warm, dim lights, soft music, if possible a nice cup of tea. Drowsy heavy eyes, ironic smile, maybe last look at a blessed photo of my baby and then fade away.
Kind of like Yoda in Return of the Jedi.

Or the death I fantasize about, swinging from a tree at Aiokigahara

Actual baby

I don't get it. You're leaving your baby to struggle on without you while you fantasize about a place in Japan that you probably haven't even been to??

Can someone please help me out here, because I think I'm trapped in a weird kind of parallel universe?

I'm sorry you don't get it, but I suppose that is the nature of our condition.
My baby will be fine, ironically he will be better for not knowing his father.
The Japan thing is not practical just a fantasy, I imagine it is a terrifying and lonely place to die, which I feel is kind of fitting for the awful creature that I am, kind of what I deserve.
I'm not sure I can help with your parallel universe conundrum, but whatever your troubles I wish you peace.

The 'nature of our condition' is not a licence to avoid any sense of responsibility. You had the baby, so am I saying too much to expect you should take care of it??

You're right, I don't get it. But I'm just strange like that...

I don't think you're saying too much, I respect your opinion.
I'm not saying that I'm right either, what I'm suggesting is that there is more to this than is easy to articulate here.
Taking care of a baby means different things to different people.
My baby has love and support of many people, in the long term me being part of that will be neither here nor there.
Financial I am squared away and baby will not be impoverished by my choices.
Baby needs healthy mentally stable people to be a positive part of their life, I cannot be this person.
I hope this explains a little better, I'm not asking you to agree, I respect all points of view.
There is nothing wrong with being strange.

Well, for sure what you say now makes it much clearer, and easier to swallow. And I appreciate that you're not just ducking and running, but seem sure that your baby has as much support as is possible. I was a bit peeved because I thought you were just weakly avoiding your responsibilities, but I see that is not the case (accepting ctb as your logical/unavoidable choice). Much good 'luck' to you...

I believe dark humor is the best sort :smiling:

Many hotel staff here are older and earn reasonable money for the job they do.

Your point still stands though. Whoever finds me will be traumatized for life and they certainly don't deserve that just for doing their job.

I'll try and find another option.
