What is known regarding IC's disappearance?

made my return to the forum only to find out ic, the only sn source i knew of, is gone. most posts i found were from right when it disappeared, when people were just sort of guessing what had happened. i'd like to know what is currently definitive, as it has been a few weeks. very concerned, i don't know of other canadian sources
