  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

For me it was only a few seconds, nearly no pain. But I was saved after passing out

Use a knot that tightens easy, I used a hangmans knot, that works if you don´t make it to tight. Place the knot at the back of your neck and tighten it good before you hng yourself. Try to fall not to deep, that the sudden stop of your drop won´t hurt your neck. Try to use a not stretchy not too thick and not too thin rope (it depends on your weight/height) how thick it sould be. For a typical woman a 10mm nylon rope is good

Would a slip knot do? Would a dressing gown belt be good?

I´d use rope. A slip knot is also good, I used a hangmans knot and it worked asI described

Why is rope better? I thought of a dressing gown belt as it would dig into my neck less, Which knot is better?

I haven´t tried the slip knot, I think with your belt the slip knot is better. I think the belt could be little bit stretchy and will maybe tighten harder

It´s hard to say it depends if tightens not good enough yes. If it´s stretchy yes. If it will be too thick yes

It will hurt if the belt-noose will not tighten easily. It will hurt if the belt is too stretchy. And it will hurt if it will not bring enough pressure to you neck, cause it´s too thick

It'll hold me. I have it tied in a slipknot with padding. It's about 400 lb test

Ok, but it will cut deeper into your neck than a 15mm one

I used no padding, only a hood like a hanged person at an execution had to wear
