What have you been watching recently?

Any good movies? Any good shows? I'll start, I watched Casino Royale (2006) recently and really liked it! I watched the subsequent movies but still feel like CR is the best out of them. I also watched The Matrix (1999) a few months ago and was blown away by how good it was. The effects have also aged super well. I haven't really watched any TV shows in a while but I've been thinking about watching The Sopranos again.

Last thing i watched when i was able to enjoy things was the whole 3 seasons of Reacher
Very like, peak boomer macho power fantasy lol but it does hit the spot
And the crime solving is very engaging too

I really like the build-up in The Menu. If you like a good thriller with a hint of horror i'd definetely recommend it.

I also liked the Bond movies, especially the Pierce Bronson ones. I don't think I watched anything past Skyfall though. Have you checked out the John Wick series? It's my favorite series. Pretty much non-stop action and the choreography is impressive.

Recently I've been watching One Piece with my friends and i like watching that show ,so interesting ,i more prefer the old animation style but it's still looks alright. I relate to Chopper and Robin quite alot ,too. All in all - I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a show about pirates and adventures and what not. Oh also if you don't like fillers then just watch the One Pace version ,also good and it's without any fillers either ^^

Aah i see, i think it's still kind of a divisive arc in the community but i love Wano since i also love feudal Japanese culture, lots of good moment and side characters too
Though the arc really is way too long lol especially the anime

Nice, i've heard good things about One Pace, never knew they also do a dubbed version
I can only imagine the process of editing the entire Wano arc lol

Yea it's pretty good to be honest ,i watch dub cause in Japanese they can talk fast and thus making the subtitles go fast too and I'm not always fast at reading subs ..

I've been watching a few things lately. A big random assortment of shows, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, SpongeBob SquarePants, Amphibia, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and Hanazuki.

For Hanazuki specifically I've been watching the show's second season and what's interesting is that most of the second season is lost media - only the first 8 episodes are available to watch online. It's a real shame the whole Hanazuki project was cancelled, because it's a lovely series, and from what I've seen of its second season so far, it's brilliant - even better than the first season.
