What happens if you take SN that’s below 95% purity?

This is a good question. I d like to know the answer too.
For example, if SN purity is 90-91% BUT I take more grams and do Vsed for 48 hours, will I die right? @locked*n*loaded

I took sn at around 80 percent purity and I didn't go unconscious... I felt everything.... that's why it's important to take 95 percent and higher.

I've only seen ones that are either >97% or <10%. But theoretically, I would assume that if the purity is 90%, you'd just have to take a few more grams than the protocol(this is just my guess tho)

You'd still probably die as long as a sufficient amount of nitrite is absorbed by your intestines, but you'd need to take a higher dose and the nitrite would be harder to absorb (so you'll probably throw up more and with less nitrite actually absorbed).

In practice though, SN is either going to be sold in high purity or inside curing salts with around 5% being SN. The various "grades" of extremely high purity SN doesn't matter for our purposes.

Hi why would it be harder to absorb? If I Vsed for 48 hours my body will be so thirsty to absorb anything. What do u think? Tia

I'm gonna try tomorrow night with some sn i cooked up myself by reduction of sodium nitrate with calcium sulfite in the oven. I'm assuming a purity of ~60-80% but im gonna compensate the dose. I'll let yall know if its not enough .

anyway heres some more info
-i had to make my own CaSO3 from sodium metabisulfite and calcium hydroxide , and i likely fucked that part up, leaving some amount of metabisulfite inpurity in my calcium sulfite.
- i started with 52g of sodium nitrate, and i believe i used excess sulfite in the oven
- i think i may have gotten ~70% yield, maybe less due to impurities in my product (it produces NO2 gas upon addition of 37% hcl, which indicates presence of nitrites)
- in essence the only impurities i should have theoretically are sodium metabisulfie and sodium nitrate

+edit, I'm taking somewhere in the range of 25ish grams of my impure stuff

+edit 2: im too lazy to follow sn protocol so I'll just have some baking soda for antacid and see how that goes, idk i had taco bell a few hours ago
